PRAYER AT KING'S

A 19th Century preacher called Charles Spurgeon once said:
“Prayer meetings are the throbbing machinery of the church”

We believe this is true - prayer is the engine room of our church. As we read the Bible, we discover that the first church spent more time in prayer meetings than they did in planning meetings. We are also told that they devoted themselves to prayer. Our vision is for prayer to be as central to our life together as it was to the church in the book of Acts. For it to be, as Spurgeon said, the 'throbbing machinery' of church life.
